Woman stabs Form 3 girl to death in fight over boyfriend in Kisii

Police in Kisii County have launched investigations into the death of a Form Three student who was allegedly stabbed to death on Tuesday evening by an unidentified woman following a quarrel over a boyfriend.

North Kanyajuok Assistant Chief Joseph Nyamanga said the deceased, who was a student at Ayora Secondary School in Kisii County, was stabbed in the stomach at Machengo Trading Centre along the Migori-Kisii border.

The 20-year-old girl, who hails from Toku Village in Rongo Sub-county, had gone to Machego trading centre to usher in the New Year with her friends when the altercation occurred.

According to the area assistant chief, the girl died while being rushed to Tabaka Hospital in Kisii.

The man alleged to have caused is yet to be identified.
