Woman stabs husband to death in Vihiga

A 36-year-old woman was on Sunday arrested after allegedly killing her husband following a domestic fight at their home in Visiru village in Vihiga County.

It is alleged that her husband, Patrick Salano, drinks with his wife but on Saturday night he returned home with another woman, causing a disagreement among them.

On Sunday, the couple got into a quarrel over the same issue before the woman grabbed a knife and stabbed her husband four times on the chest, killing him on the spot.

Confirming the incident, Vihiga OCPD Justine Nyaga said police are investigating the incident.

Salano’s body was taken to Vihiga Referral Hospital mortuary.
