Woman who spiked mans drink in Nyali and stole Ksh.1.7M from bank account arrested

A woman who spiked her victim’s drink at a club in Nyali, stole his phone and transferred Ksh. 1.7million from his bank account has been arrested.

Detectives based at Nyali made the arrest on Saturday.

“The suspect who was captured on camera on the fateful day, together with her two accomplices have been on the run since the incident was reported on 8th September,” the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said on Twitter.

The suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Beatrice Mueni Mbiu.

She was positively identified by the victim and will be arraigned next week as search for two other two suspects continues.
