Wounded Police Officer Dies At KNH

The officer died at the hospital where he was admitted since Sunday morning.

The police constable was shot and injured when he together with colleagues tried to arrest a group of suspected thugs

The thugs shot him in the abdomen on Saturday night and was rushed to KNH for treatment

The attackers managed to escape and no arrest has been made so far.

Eastleigh residents took to the streets to protest terror by a criminal gang known as Super Power.

The gang that attacked the policeman is also believed to be part of a larger gang that operates in the area.

The gang is said to be engaging in extortion, muggings and kidnapping among other crimes.

Nairobi’s Eastleigh area is reportedly one of the areas with high crime rates in the city
