Zenka Finance wins Digital Tech Excellence award

Zenka Finance, a mobile fin-tech company operating in Kenya, was awarded during this year’s Digital Tech Excellence Awards Gala held in Nairobi.

The digital lending platform won the Most Promising Mobile Loans Platform award at the event held at Intercontinental Hotel.

The digital lending market in Kenya has been expanding rapidly since the world’s first digital credit solution was launched in the country.

The thriving economy has provided a perfect ground for fintech based businesses including Zenka Finance which started its operations in Kenya in December 2018.

We believe in people and their potential. We also know that every potential, every spark must sometimes be fed with instant cash so that ideas and needs can be met,” said Duncun Motanya, Zenka Finance’s CEO.

The award is the second one this year. In August, Zenka won the Most Preferred Non-Banking Platform and the 1st Runners-Up award for being the fastest-growing non-banking loan platform in the Financial Inclusion Awards Ceremony held the Crowne Plaza Hotel, on August 9, 2019.
