AC Milan beats Legnano 5 – 1 in friendly match

AC Milan played their second friendly of the off-season against Legnano at Solbiate on Tuesday and beat them 5-1.

It was Legnano who opened the scoring after nine minutes with Davide Anelli scoring past goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

That advantage continued for most of the first half before Milan, which had dominated play, scored the equaliser when Andrea Poli tapped in from a corner kick.

Three minutes later Milan went ahead when Alex headed home their second from a corner kick.

Hachim Mastour scored Milan’s third a minute later.

In the second half Keisuke Honda and Simone Verdi gave coach Sinisa Mihajlovic some encouragement with two more goals.

The club plays a third friendly against Ligue 1 team Lyon in France on Saturday.
