AFC Leopards to unveil assistant to Hall next week

AFC Leopards will name their new assistant coach next week following the conclusion of the 2016 Kenyan Premier League.

New boss Stewart Hall sill sit with the Executive Committee to go through the credentials of10 applicants who have shown interest in the post before settling for his deputy who will be formally appointed.

According to club Secretary General Oscar Igaida, Hall will also present a list of players to bring to the Den and those who will be allowed to leave in the post-season transfer window at the same meeting.

“The Executive will cross check the CVs of the applicants but the final say is with Hall,” he emphasised.

Since his appointment, Hall has been attending various domestic matches with a view of identifying talent to join the club that slumped to 13th in the KPL this season.

Igaida announced Hall has been given the license to sign players from Kenya and outside provided it is within the budget he has been allocated by the club.

Hall will lead the side against GOtv Shield champions Muhoroni Youth at Mumias Sports Complex on Saturday hoping to register a first win in his second game in charge.

His debut against Tusker FC before the international week ended in a 1-0 defeat at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru that gifted the winners the 2016 KPL title.
