All Stars host Wadadia with eyes on fourth

Kisumu All Stars will resume their Kenyan Women’s Premier League title hunt on Sunday when they host Wadadia at Moi Stadium in the lakeside city.

All Stars could climb into fourth place with victory and coach Juma Said has said their focus is on getting a better defensive shape as they seek to concede less goals.

“We’ve had proper training this week, the morale is high in the team and every player is ready for the match. Our aim is to clinch the title so the players must stay focused on the target,” Juma said.

A total of eight matches will be on the cards across the weekend when the competition enters round 14 with Spedag taking on Eldoret Falcons at the Camp Toyoyo Grounds before the same venue hosts Kayole Starlets versus Thika Queens.

On Sunday Nyuki Starlets will face off with Waddadia at Approved School in Kakamega as Vihiga Queens will entertain league leaders Trans Nzoia Flacons at Mumias Sports Complex.
