KCB Flanker Andrew Amonde will wear the armband for Shujaa while Jeff Olouch will captain Kenya Morans in the upcoming Safari Sevens as the two sides unveil their squads.

Amonde, who skippered Kenya to its first and only HSBC World Rugby Sevens round title in Singapore in 2016, will be joined by Kenya’s record try scorer Collins Injera alongside Willy Ambaka.

Menengai Cream Homeboyz Utility forward Oluoch will be joined by youngsters Johnstone Olindi and Herman Humwa.

Shujaa were finalists in last year’s edition, losing 21-14 to Samurai International while Kenya Morans finished third after beating Spain 12-5.

Shujaa are in Pool C alongside South Africa’s Blue Bulls, Russia academy and Zambia while Morans face off South Africa, Uganda and Burundi in Pool A.
