Arsenal is set to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to Telegraph.co.uk.

The Gunners are said to have been in talks with PSG over the signing of the 20-year-old French international after he requested that he wants to leave the club.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be a huge fan of Rabiot who has now been linked with the club in every transfer window for the last two years.

Arsenal is currently struggling with a list of injured players including Francis Coquelin, Santi Carzola, Tomas Rosicky, Alexis Sanchez and the injury-prone Jack Wilshere necessitating the need for Arsene Wenger to bolster his midfield options.

Arsenal FC has reaped heavily on the services of Coquelin who has blossomed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League this season and without his services, Rabiot would be a great defensive midfield addition, providing more pace and a forward incision.

It’s reported that Rabiot will cost the Gunners about £15 million.

The Gunners are currently placed top of the league with 42 points from 20 matches played so far.
