Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil engages fans on Twitter in rare Q&A session

Football fans had a rare opportunity to interact with Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil on Twitter in a rare Question & Answer session.

The session held on Friday, gave fans from across the world an opportunity to ask the German international questions regarding his time at Arsenal, his stay in England as well as personal issues.

The beginning part of the session was handled by Arsenal’s official twitter account before the prolific midfielder took over in the evening.

It was not all serious though, as some fans took the opportunity to pose light questions with one requesting help from Ozil in “getting” girls.

Ozil has registered 16 premier league assists so far this season putting him just four assists away from equally the record held by former Arsenal forward Thiery Henry during the 2002/03 season.

The 27-year-old signed for Arsenal from Real Madrid in the 2013 for £42 million. The midfielder had a shaky start in England though he has since picked up and has been instrumental in Arsenal’s stellar performance this season.

The Gunner are currently placed top in the Premier League table with 42 points from 20 matches, two points ahead of second placed Leicester.
