Aswani back to the Stars squad as Okumbi drafts in new faces

Harambee Stars coach Stanley Okumbi has named a provisional squad of 28 local based players ahead of a FIFA International friendly match against Zambia,  scheduled to be played in Machakos on November 14.

Ulinzi Stars striker Samuel Onyango makes a return to the squad, and so are on-form Nakumatt hit-man Kepha Aswani.

There is also room for the 2010 Kenyan Premier League’s Most Valuable Player, George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo, Chris Masinza (Vihiga United), Simon Abuko (KCB),and Ezekiel Otuoma (Western Stima).

The squad is a blend of familiar and new faces as the plummeting Stars seek to find their winning mojo back. Recent losses to Thailand and Iraq has seen the team drop to position 102 in the Fifa rankings.
