The second Athletics Kenya (AK) annual Athletes’ conference will be held in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County on December 4-7.

The four-day event to be held in Sirikwa Hotel, is targeting more than 300 athletes drawn from the junior category to road race specialists with this year’s theme being ‘I Choose Integrity’.

Just as the inaugural conference held last year in Nairobi, doping menace is set to dominate talks as the event will be graced by officials from the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) with Kenya still under the World Athletics watch list.

The athletes who will earn invitation for the seminar will also include the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games probables.

A one-day Workshop for marathoners and road running athletes will precede the main seminar on December 4.

AK will also use the event to enlighten athletes in other topics including; ethics, Legal and contractual obligations, investment, taxation and athlete-media relations.
