Atudo starts against Malawi as Migne names squad

Harambee Stars head coach Sébastien Migné has made only one change to the team that played Ghana as Joackins Atudo makes a start at the heart of the defence.

The Stars take on Malawi Flames from 3 pm this afternoon and the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in an international friendly match.

Atudo comes in for the injured Philemon Otieno who picked up an ankle sprain in the African Cup of Nation qualifiers win against the Black Stars of Ghana on Saturday.

Atudo will partner Gor Mahia’s duo Joash Onyango,  Musa Mohammed and Bulgaria based player Aboud Omar in the back four.

In  midfield, Francis Kahata will pull the strings alongside Eric Johanna, Dennis Odhiambo, Ovella Ochieng and Ismael Gonzalez  as Michael Olunga leads the attack. Patrick Matasi retains his slot between the goal posts.
