Bandari change tack, target three before transfer window shuts
- Bandari have already resumed non-contact training awaiting the government's greenlight for the return of contact sports.
FKF Premier League side Bandari FC have changed tack and are set to sign at least three upcoming players within a week before the transfer window shuts, head coach Ken Odhiambo has said.
The Dockers had maintained that they’ll not beef up the squad during during transfer window.
However, speaking with Citizen Digital, Odhiambo cited the need to have back-up players in the squad as they prepare for the new season which is set to commence on 20th November, as one of the reasons that have formed a change in tune.
“We have at least three days and we will outline the additions in our squad as the deadline approaches,” said Odhiambo.
The three are young Mombasa based players who are training with the team currently, and are set to be unveiled in the course of the week.
“They are just young players within Mombasa who will be coping with the rest of the squad and help the team achieve its targets in the coming season.”
