Bandari FC’s Orotomal in Egypt for trials

Bandari FC striker Alex Orotomal is in Egypt for trials ahead of a potential move, the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) club’s CEO Edward Oduor has said.

Oduor said they do not have sufficient details of the trials but received a request for permission from Orotomal’s agent which was granted last week.

Orotomal was signed on a short term deal with an option to extend in March when the club sought a replacement for striker Wycliffe Ochomo who injured his arm.

But the Nigerian has failed to impress, scoring only once with the goal coming against his former AFC Leopards in Machakos where Bandari lost 2-1.

At the same time Oduor has refuted claims that Bandari’s skipper Felly Mulumba is on the verge of a move to Zambia.

“I know nothing about Felly trials, he is still with us although he is currently out injured.”

Bandari play Vihiga United on Wednesday at Kakamega’s Bukhungu Stadium.
