Bandari line up three friendlies after Ngong camp

Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Bandari FC will play three friendly matches after camping in Ngong Hills, Kajiado County for six days before retreating to their Mombasa base.

According to their team manager Albert Ogari, they will play their hosts Vapor at the Vapor grounds on Thursday before travelling to Nairobi to play Premier League rivals Kariobangi Sharks and KCB FC on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

“We are playing a local team here in Ngong this afternoon before going to the city for two more friendlies over the weekend,”said Ogari. He added, “in Nairobi we will play Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday and league’s runners up KCB on Sunday”.

The Dockers will play their last friendly in Mombasa next week against Lamu Combined at their Mbaraki grounds before launching their new season.

The league is scheduled to commence on October 2 after the start date was moved from the initial September 25.

Regarding signing Rodgers Aloro from Tusker, Ogari said that they are yet to announce any signing and they will do so after completion of the ongoing negotiation.

“We will finish the friendlies and see where we need to re-enforce before the window closes and the league starts.”

Aloro has been seen wearing jersey number 26 which was left by Hamisi Mwinyi who was released after the completion of his contract.

Among the other players who have been associated with joining Bandari are Whyvonne Isuza who has been released by Wazito and his former team mate Said Tsuma of AFC Leopards who has not renewed his contract with Ingwe.
