Bandari FC head coach Bernard Mwalala says his team must battle through fatigue to overcome Tusker FC when they host them at Mbaraki for this afternoon’s Kenyan Premier League clash.

Mwalala’s men blew away SS Assad 6-1 during Sunday’s FKF Shield assignment before overpowering Chemelil Sugar 3-1 on Tuesday and now face their third match in just five days.

“It’s going to be  a very difficult match for us considering we have just one day to rest but every player who will get the opportunity to play is expected give 100 percent knowing we need the maximum points

We may be required to rotate the squad to avoid the players getting a ban out but I believe everyone in this team has some greatness to offer,” Mwalala said.

Bandari can continue to retain their faint hopes of ctaching Gor Mahia FC if they win against Tusker that will push to within 8 points of the top spot with four rounds left to play.

“Tusker has rested enough, but that should not be reason for us to drop points, we are playing at home and this should be a motivation for the player and the fans ,” added Mwalala.

Having played to a 1-1 draw against Nzoia FC over the weekend Robert Matanos  team will be looking for the three  points knowing  a win will put them in the sixth place level on points with Mathare United but with a better goal difference.

On February 7 the two sides played to a 1-1 draw at the Moi international sports centre Kasarani and Bandari will be looking forward to capitalize on their home advantage and earn maximum points.
