Bandari shift focus to Sharks

Bandari FC are ready to fight for maximum points when they host Kariobangi Sharks in an FKF –PL match on Friday at their Mbaraki backyard.

Team manager Albert Ogari says that after their match against Vihiga United was postponed due Covid-19 containment measures , the team has been playing friendlies beating Nation FC and Shells FC 4-0 and 8-2 in Nairobi and Mombasa respectively as they plan for the upcoming fixture.

“We got ample time and we are preparing well for Kariobangi Sharks targeting all three points”, said Ogari.

The Dockers have not registered any win since league resumption, losing two matches and drawing the other two piling pressure on the technical bench.

They lost to Ulinzi at home and drew Bidco as they lost against KCB and drew Western Stima away.

“In football you come across good and bad times so we are sure this will pass”, he added.

The Mombasa based side currently occupy position seven in the league standing with 28points from 19 matches.

Meanwhile two of their players have been called up to the Emerging stars squad preparing for the CECAFA challenge in Ethiopia.

Abdallah Hassan and Keegan Ndemi will join the camp in Nairobi after some teams declined to release their players for the tourney.
