Bandaris Hassan lays down season marker

Bandari forward Abdallah Hassan has laid down the marker as the new season begins targeting to claim the golden boot award.

Hassan was on target as the Coast based side got their campaign off to a flying start after clipping Sofapaka at home, at the weekend, and now says the aim is to emerge as the top scorer in order to bag the coveted individual honour.

“The goal came in a right time and I hope for many more this season,” said the soft-spoken winger.

He added, “I want to clinch the Golden Boot or even finishing top three will be good for me”.

The Harambee Stars trialist is also considering nailing down a regular slot in the national football team.

“Playing some minutes against Comoros in both legs was an achievement and I want to make it regular donning the national colours,” he stated.

Bandari travel to Nairobi over the weekend to entertain Tusker FC who were defeated by two goals to one by AFC Leopards in their first match at Kasarani.
