Bidco crush poor Migori Youth in NSL
Bidco United registered their second win of the season after thumping struggling Migori Youth 4-1 in a National Super League (NSL) match played at Thika Stadium on Saturday, January 5th.
Congolese international Luvualu Heritier opened the scores for the Thika based club in the 45th minute from close range but his goal was cancelled out by Migori’s Nelson Rodgers who tapped in in the 10th minute after the break.
Emmanuel Onyango, Collins Marita and Michael Odongo also found the net for Bidco in the 68th, 75th and 88th minutes respectively.
Anthony Akhulia, Bidco boss, is bullish his on form charges can now take on any opposition in the competition.
“We didn’t start off the season well but we have corrected our mistakes. We scored most goals in the final half because my substitutes worked,” an excited Akhulia averred.
Migori Youth are yet to collect maximum points in the NSL and head coach Salim Babu cited lack of experience from his junior side for the tough beginning.
“I am leading a very young team, we will pick up. We have faced financial difficulties too and that’s why it’s really hard for us to compete with others,” Babu said.
Bidco will face ghetto’s Kibera Black Stars in their next fixture as Migori Youth will be looking for their first win against the Lake side’s Kisumu Allstars on January 11th.
