Kabras Sugar Felix Ayange has made a return to the national rugby team after being named in the 42-man provisional squad for the 2017/2018 season.

Also earning debut call-ups to the national side are Nakuru RFC’s Monate Akwei and Dominic Osino from the indefatigable Kabras Sugar RFC.

Ian Minjire from Impala RFC, who has in the past got call-ups but never made the  final cut, will be out to impress this time round.

A large number of players selected in the squad came from the just concluded National Sevens Circuit.

The squad is expected to feature in the invitational tournaments, the HSBC Sevens World Cup Series as well as the Rugby Sevens World Cup and the Commonwealth Games.
