Boost to Bandari as injured duo return ahead of City Stars clash

Bandari FC head coach Ken Odhiambo has been handed a massive boost ahead of Friday’s league match against Nairobi City Stars with the return to fitness of two key players.

Wingers Benjamin Mosha and Darius Msagha have both passed the fitness test ahead of the Friday duel shrugging off lengthy layoffs that saw them play no part in the team’s pre-season.

Coach Odhiambo will also have deadly attacker William Wadri and Johanna Mwita to choose from.

The duo featured for 10 minutes last weekend against Tusker and could be selected to start the Friday game.

“Their wellbeing of course is a plus to us and they may start in the next match against City Stars,” explained Odhiambo.

Ken has at the same time assured that they are working on their finishing power which cost them a win against Tusker.

“My players were in a hurry against Tusker thus missing open chances but we are working on that and I am sure we will score more goals going forward,” he enthused.

The dockers who kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 win against Sofapaka in Mombasa have also welcomed young new signing Alphonce Washe in their Nairobi camp.

Washe was away with the national under-20 side Rising Stars in Arusha Tanzania for CECAFA tourney.
