Brace for tough battle, Bidco fire warning shot to top guns

Bidco United have fired a warning shot to top teams in an already charged Football Kenya Federation Premier League to brace for fierce battle.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Bidco United head coach Antony Akhulia said his boys are in high spirits and the team is focused on winning matches.

“At the moment we are focused on winning matches, no room for error, we want to remain in a better position in the League and my boys are in high spirits and very promising,” said Akhulia.

The Thika based side held Batoto ba Mungu to a barren draw at Wundanyi Stadium on Saturday and had defeated league leaders Tusker 2-1 prior to the Wundanyi outing.

Akhulia has told his charges to use their current form as fuel for their next FKF Premier League assignment against champions Gor Mahia FC on Sunday.

“We are going for the three points and nothing less. We have to keep fighting. Gor are fighting to defend the title. We are aware their morale is high. Remember they lost their last match and they are wounded, my boys are in good form and you could see it during the Sofapaka match,” he said.

Bidco United who are unbeaten in five matches in a row sit seventh on the FKF-PL log with 21 points from 15 matches. Gor are eighth on the standings with four games in hand.
