Brazil end Kenya Lionesses run in Hong Kong

The Kenya Lionesses bowed out of the Women Sevens Series Qualifiers after losing their semi-final clash to eventual champions Brazil in Hong Kong.

Bianca Dos Santos Silva scored her brace in the first half with both conversions sailing wide while Janet Okello landed Lionesses solitary try in the first half for a 5-10 score at Half time.

Brazil were dominant in all areas in the half, they denied Lionesses possession of the ball throughout the match and they were very clinical in every aspect of the match.

A Kenyan infringement resulted in Cynthia Camilla being sent to the sin bin and Brazil striking once more extending their lead to 17-5. Earlier, Lionesses beat Argentina to proceed to the semi-final.
