The 43rd edition of the World Cross Country Championships will be aired live on the leading television channel in the country – Citizen TV as the global championship goes down in Aarhus, Denmark on Saturday.

In the championships set to kick off in the afternoon, Kenya will be in line to defend the overall title won in the last edition of the competition held in Kampala, Uganda after bagging 12 medals out of the possible 27.

Alongside defending the senior category and mixed relay titles, Kenya will be out to reclaim the junior category titles.

The biennial event is set to attract a total of 582 elite athletes from 67 countries in the five competitive disciplines.

 

Event schedule (Kenyan time)

Mixed relays 1pm

6km junior women 1.35pm

8km junior men 2.10pm

10km junior women 3pm

10km senior men 4pm
