Coach Kamau out to lead KCB back to KPL

KCB FC are keen for a return to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) following their relegation three years ago.

The club sits only five points adrift leaders Ushuru FC and three behind second-placed Western Stima but they can cut that deficit to two if they win their game in hand.

The in-form Bankers have managed back to back wins in recent fixtures and with 15 matches to go until the end of the season, head coach John Kamau believes his side is in track for a return to the top flight.

Kamau who was appointed the club’s head coach early this year adds he is delighted with the team’s exemplary performance.

“I’m confident we can improve because we’ve done it before and I have confidence in the quality of the players, they are doing a superb job. Our target is three points in every match

“When I see my boys enjoy on the field I see a win, every win puts us closer and my target remain three points in every match, that’s what we are out for,” Kamau said.
