Custodian Owade tips Leopards to bounce back to winning ways

AFC Leopards goalkeeper Ezekiel Owuor is hopeful they will bounce back to winning ways when they face KCB in a mid-week Kenyan Premier League(KPL) tie at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Wednesday May 15.

Leopards head into the game at the back of a barren draw at Sony Sugar on Sunday which Owade described as ”tough” but they ”look forward” to the next opponent.

“Today’s match was tough,” he said. “Sony is good and we now put our focus on the next fixture which we are all going to play for maximum points,” he said.

Forward Whyvonne Isuza congratulated Ingwe for picking a point from a “hard to crack team”.

“We wanted to win and you know we missed a number of chances from a scoring position.”

“Sony is a good team who play fantastic football and so what I can just urge is to go for three points on Wednesday against KCB. It is not a bad result and so we take it as it is and focus on winning the next game; to try and go above Ulinzi Stars whom we are tied on points,” he added.

Going to Wednesday’s match, Leopards sits ninth with 39 points behind Ulinzi Stars who have a better goal difference. Sony extended their tally to 46 at seventh place.
