Engesha earns Starlets call for E. Guinea duty

Harambee Starlets coach David Ouma has made slight alterations to the national team ahead of their forthcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations Qualifier against Equatorial Guinea.

Vihiga Queens’ Teresa Engesha and Janet Bundi of Eldoret Falcons are the only notable inclusions in the provisional squad of 26 largely comprised of players who faced Uganda in the first round.

Oserian Ladies defender Anita Adongo has also been called up, while Vihiga Queens Goalkeeper Lilian Awuor, who was part of the U20 Women team last year, has been recalled.

The team is set to report to camp on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Machakos ahead of the two-legged qualifier.

The first leg will be played on June 6, 2018, at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, with the second leg slated for June 9, 2018.
