Federer, Djokovic set for Cincinnati finals

Roger Federer will get the chance to defend his Cincinnati Masters title after a straight sets win over Andy Murray in the last four.

The Swiss claimed the only break of serve in the third game of the match in a 6-4 7-6 win over the two time winner.

He’s now won the last five matches against The Scot, a run that stretches back to the Australian Open in 2013.

Federer will secure a seventh title in Ohio if he beats world number one Novak Djokovic on Sunday.

Novak Djokovic is now just one match away from achieving a complete set of career masters titles after beating Alexandr Dolgopolov in the semi-finals of the Cincinnati Masters.

Djokovic trailed the man nicknamed the Dog 5-4 in the second set tiebreak before fighting back to win 4-6 7-6 6-2.

The Serbian has won all of the other eight ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crowns and would complete the set with victory in Cincinnati against Roger Federer in Sunday’s showpiece.
