FIFA training KPL match officials in Nakuru

A total of 35 match officials drawn from the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Tuesday gathered in Nakuru to upskill during the 2017 FIFA Masters Administration (MA) course.

The annual exercise is jointly organized by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and world governing body FIFA and will be conducted over five days in a bid to continue raising the standard of local football.

The annual course, is not only aimed at sharpening the officials skills in handling matches but also acts as a refresher course as it envisions to keep the match officials abreast with the numerous amendments that have in the recent past been made to the laws of the game.

The field practical sessions are being held at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) grounds, while the theory sessions are at Citymax Hotel, Nakuru.

FIFA instructors Tracey Lovell, Felix Tangawarima and Gladys Waweru are overseeing the course that is scheduled to officially end on June 16.
