FKF picks six-member team to manage football in Tana River pending elections
- The six have been nominated by FKF NEC member for Coast Region Gabriel Mgendi, and will oversee football management in the region pending elections.
Football Kenya Federation has formed a committee of six-members to manage football in Tana River County after the mandate of the previous interim officials elapsed without elections being held.
The six have been nominated by FKF NEC member for Coast Region Gabriel Mgendi, and will oversee football management in the region pending elections.
The six-member team will be chaired by Said Ilu, Hussein Adhan Boru(Vice-Chairman), Henry Buya( Secretary), Osman Aden(Treasurer), Maro Stanley(Youth Representative and Rebecca Nandongwa(Women Representative).
Tana River County failed to conduct elections last year as it had no functional leagues – which had been existent three years prior to the elections – a requirement for the polls.
