FKFs Mwendwa mourns Nkaissery

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa has sent a message of condolences to the family and friends of the late Interior Cabinet Secretary Major Gen. (Rtd.)  Joseph Nkaissery.

Nkaissery, who has left a huge footprint in Kenyan politics and governance, will be remembered as a staunch protector of the law and an efficient public servant.

“It is with profound sadness that I have learned of the passing of Honorable Joseph Nkaisserry, one of the greatest public servants of our generation and a strong believer of the rule of law.

“On my own behalf and that of the entire football fraternity, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the entire nation and most importantly to the family and friends of  the late Honorable Nkaissery,” Mwendwa said.

Mwendwa noted the demise of the late Cabinet Secretary was a blow to the entire nation, sports fraternity not an exception.

“In a special way, we hope that our kind words of support and solace will help yield some level of comfort to all those who have been affected by the untimely death of arguably one of the best leaders in Kenyan history,” Concluded the FKF president.

Honorable Nkaissery passed on at a Karen Hospital, Nairobi on Saturday morning.
