Four Harambee Stars players test positive for Covid-19
Harambee Stars will on Monday evening face off with Togo in the final round of Africa Cup of Nations qualifier without four key players who have tested positive for Covid-19.
The quartet is skipper Michael Olunga, defender Joash Onyango, midfielder Lawrence Juma and goalkeeper Ian Otieno.
The Stars take on Togo in Lome from 7pm, with the development having complicated coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee selection plans, who’s had to omit them from his starting eleven.
The development was confirmed by FKF media liaison officer Ian Manyumba.
Due to the turn of events, the four have been isolated at their hotel rooms, and did not accompany the rest of the squad to the stadium, for the match.
