Kenya’s legendary footballer Joe Kadenge will be making a filmed trip to Manchester United.
The trip, sponsored by Black Arrow, a US football media brand, is part of the media firm’s upcoming KadengeNaMpira documentary about the life and times of the football legend.
Kadenge, a former AFC Leopards, and Harambee Stars great dazzled the local and regional football scene in the 1970s when he was a dreaded winger but of late his health has been failing him, with diseases ravaging what was once a stout powerful body that gave football lovers plenty to cheer about on the terraces.
Kadenge, widely regarded as Kenya’s finest footballer, became a Manchester United fan as early as 1958 as he identified with the club following the lives lost in the 1958 Munich Air Disaster; an incident that birthed the Manchester United we know today.
In a statement, Black Arrow said: “In Collaborating with Manchester United, Black Arrow is honoured to represent him and help fulfill his lifelong dream of visiting Old Trafford.
