Gor fight back to edge Bidco United

Gor Mahia FC bounced back to winning ways with a 3-1 comeback victory over Bidco United at the Kasarani Annex on Monday.

Bidco took the lead in the first half through Peter Nzuki in the 11th minute before Gor equalized through Clifford Miheso 25 minutes later to take the game to a 1-1 draw at half time.

Fourteen minutes after the break Brazilian striker Wilson Silva struck his second goal for Gor Mahia to give the defending champions the lead.

Gor continued to press their opponents and with seven minutes to the end of the match captain Kenneth Muguna completed the scoring to secure the defending champions the maximum points.

The win takes the pressure of coach Carlos Vas Pinto who prior to the win they had lost two games back to back 2-0 loss to KCB and the 1-0 loss to Posta Rangers .

19th times premier league champions are now seventh on the standings with 22 points from 14 games while Bidco are currently 9th on the log with 21 points from 16 games .
