Gor go 14 points clear after Posta victory

Gor Mahia rose above the loss of the season last Tuesday to Bandari, beating Posta Rangers 2-1 at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Friday to open a 14-point gap at the summit of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) standings.

Rwandese Jacques Tuyisenge and Francis Kahata scored for the Dylan Kerr coached side, as former Kariobangi Sharks ace Calvin Odongo netted the consolation for the mail men.

Kerr made only two changes from the team that lost to Bandari in Mombasa on Tuesday, goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch replacing Shaban Odhoji while Innocent Wafula came in for Ugandan Godfrey Walusimbi.

Posta remain 10th after 26 rounds of matches, while Gor enjoy the lead with a match in hand.
