Gor Mahia FC head coach Hassan Oktay has made two changes to the team that went down 2-1 to Bandari last weekend in Mombasa as K’Ogalo prepare to host Zoo Kericho in their second KPL match or the season at the Kasarani Stadium.

The club’s new signing Pascal Ogweno has is set for his first start with striker Ephrem Guukan also returning to the starting XI.

The injured Rwandese striker Jacque Tuyisenge remains sidelined as Gor bid for their first win of the season having lost 2-1 to Bandari FC in their opener.

Other notable inclusions in his squad to face Zoo include goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch between the posts with Philemon otieno, Harun Shakava, and Uganda Shafique Batambuze sealing the defence. The match kicks off 4pm

Meanwhile Gor’s opponents in the Caf club championship Lobi Stars of Nigeria are keeping their cards close to their chest ahead of their Sunday crunch Caf- Champions League first leg tie at the Kasarani Stadium, with the Nigerians yet to share their travel itinerary with the hosts.

Gor Mahia deputy secretary general Ronald Ngala says Football Kenya Federation had written to the Nigerian giants seeking to know their travel itinerary but have received no response.

‘’We even wanted to know the date of the return match in Nigeria but they have not communicated yet’’ Ngala told Citizen digital.

He however said they are optimistic they will know the dates by close of business today or latest tomorrow.

The deputy secretary general said the players are quickly adopting to the new coach Hassan Oktay who took over the mantle of the team following the resignation of their former British coach Dylan Kerr last month.

Ngala said the team is well prepared though they will miss the services of their Rwandese striker Jacques Tuyisenge who is still down with injury
