Five Gor Mahia FC players will miss next week’s Harambee Stars International friendly against Malawi, due to club commitments.

The five, lead bu Goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch, defender Musa Mohammed, Harun Shakava, Ernest Wendo and Kenneth Muguna, who had been called to camp by Coach Stanley Okumbi failed to show up on the first day in camp, due to what the club said was engagements, thus will now miss the international friendly.

Football Kenya Federation intends to have the national team play at-least one friendly per month in preparation for the 2018 Chan tournament set to be held in Kenya.

The friendly is set for Tuesday April 18, 2017 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos beginning 3pm.
