Gors Omala to leave for Sweden in three weeks, says Aduda

Gor Mahia FC striker Benson Omala will join Swedish Division One side Linkoping City in the next three weeks if he gets his visa within the period, the club’s CEO Lordvick Aduda has said.

Omala, who just completed his High School education, signed for the Swedish side on a loan deal that will run out at the end of the year.

“He is a talented kid who is passionate about playing football and this presents a great opportunity for him to show the world what he is made of and develop the basics of the game that will make him a complete product for the future.

“His travel details are with the Swedish embassy and in the next three week he will be cleared to travel if all goes well,” said Aduda

Aduda also denied reports that midfielder Kenneth Muguna will leave the club saying they have not received any offers nor communication from interested clubs.

“I have read a lot of stories in the media about Muguna leaving that is not true at all he still has a contract with Gor until October and we have not been approached by any club about the possible signing of our midfielder ,”added Aduda

Gor have made an underwhelming start to their title defence bid and currently sit seventh on the FKF Premier League with 22 points after 14 matches.
