Guikan nets hatrick in Gor rout of Kenpoly

Gor Mahia FC strolled to the Shield Cup last 16 with a 5-0 mauling of Kenpoly in their second round tie at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Ephrem Guikan scored a hatrick with Lawrence Juma and an own goal completing a miserable Wednesday afternoon for Kenpoly.

Meanwhile, the match between Ulinzi Stars and Kakamega Homeboyz scheduled at the Afraha Stadium failed to take place with the soldiers announcing on the social media page that the opponents did not turn up.

Ulinzi Stars thus advance to the next round and will play the winner between Western Stima and Bidco United who are due to play on Sunday.
