The national team Harambee Stars have departed the country for Lome, Togo ahead of their final 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match scheduled for Monday.

Stars, who are already out of contention for a place in the AFCON Finals following Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Egpyt, will have a feel of the field of play later in the day.

Coach Jacob “Ghost” Mulee has commended the team on their performance in their game against Egypt.

“The team showed immense confidence in their game against Egypt and it gives me hope of a positive result as we face Togo on Monday and also in the other upcoming competitions ahead in the calendar,” said Coach Mulee

Kenya stands at position three in Group G with four points.
