Harambee Stars held by Comoros in Marrakech friendly

Stanley Okumbi marked his return to Harambee Stars hot seat with a 2-2 draw against Comoros in an international friendly match played at the  Stade de Marrakech, Morocco on Saturday.

Stars took a gigantic step when they went ahead inside the first 15 minutes through a Victor Wanyama penalty after Alhadhur Chaker hacked Eric Johanna in the danger area and the Kenyan skipper made no mistake from the spot.

Comoros equalised via Mchangama Youssof on 20 minutes hitting a  long-range shot, giving Patrick Matasi no chance in Kenya’s goal. Bakar Djmel then put Comoros ahead from a quick counter-attack, when he connected a Chamed Nasser pass into the Kenyan net but substitute MacDonald Mariga picked Clifton Miheso who swept into the net to ensure for shared spoils.
