Harambee Stars players report to camp, undergo Covid-19 screening
Harambee Stars players and members of the technical bench reported to residential training Monday and were immediately subjected to mandatory COVID-19 tests as they checked into camp ahead of their two-legged Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Comoros.
Some 18 local-based players reported to camp, and are set to be joined by their foreign-based counterparts starting November 5, 2020.
The team is set to kick off residential training this evening.
Kenya is second in Group G of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with two points, off identical 1-1 draws with Togo and Egypt.
The first leg will be played at the MISC Kasarani on November 11, 2020, at 7 pm, under floodlights, while the second leg has been slated for November 15, 2020, away in Comoros capital Moroni.
