Hassan keen to extend good form with Harambee Stars

Harambee Stars attacker Abdallah Hassan is keen to extend his good form with the national team into the World Cup qualifiers that begin in June.

The Bandari FC player has scored three goals in three games for Stars during clashes against Tanzania in a friendly and Egypt and Togo in AFCON qualifiers.

Hassan thanked Coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee for the chance to don national team colors and at the same time call upon his fellow players to proceed with personal training as sports are suspended countrywide as a way to tame Covid-19

“I thank the coach for believing in me and I will work extra hard to deliver for my country when called upon again,” said Hassan. He added, “we need to adopt personal training like last year so that when sports resumes we are set to go.”

His sentiments come days after Ghost Mulee called upon the speedy winger to remain focused and work extra hard in order to maintain his momentum in the game.

“I hope he (Abdallah) will concentrate from where he is because his football journey has kicked off officialy,” praised Mulee.

Harambee Stars will begin their World Cup qualifier against neighbors Uganda in the weekend commencing 5th June before tackling Rwanda away a week later.
