Higuan finally seals Juventus move

Gonzalo Higuain finally completed his 75.3million pounds move from Napoli to Juventus, according to Sky Italia.

The Argentina international signed a four-year contract with the Serie A champions worth 6.3 million pounds per season and will become the third most expensive player of all time.

Higuain passed a medical in Madrid on Friday after Juventus agreed to pay the 28-year-old’s full release clause – a record transfer fee for the Serie A.

Juventus are expected to officially confirm the arrival of Higuain on Tuesday.

He ended the 2015/16 season as the top scorer in Serie A with 36 goals and scored 91 times in 146 appearances for Napoli.

The striker becomes manager Massimiliano Allegri’s fifth signing of the summer following the acquisitions of Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves, Medhi Benatia and Marko Pjaca.

• Sky sports in Italy are reporting that Ciro Immobile is moving from Sevilla to Lazio. The forward has apparently had a medical and is training with his new team having cost Lazio 8.5million Euros and has penned a five-year deal.
• Inter Milan insist Mauro Icardi is not for sale amid reports that transfer talks are taking place with Napoli.
• The agent of Chelsea and Everton target Kalidou Koulibaly has confirmed his client wants to leave Napoli.

• Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba’s world record 100 million pounds move to Manchester United is being held up by a row over who pays the 23-year-old France international’s agent a 25million pounds fee.
• Manchester City target Leroy Sane has informed Schalke he wants to leave the club this summer.
• Lyon have released a statement saying they have not received a 48million pounds offer from Arsenal for Alexandre Lacazette.
• Marko Arnautovic is apparently close to completing a move from Stoke to Everton.
• Stoke City have confirmed the signing of Wales midfielder Joe Allen from Liverpool.

• Alexandre Pato is reportedly closing in on a move to Villarreal. The Corinthians forward spent the second half of last season on loan with Chelsea but failed to impress. It was reported by Marca that Villarreal will pay 3 million Euros for 60 percent of Pato’s rights.
• The team has also signed Andres Fernandez and Jose Angel on loan from Porto for the 2016/17 season.
• Luciano Vietto will reportedly join Sevilla on loan from Atletico Madrid for the 2016/17 season.
• Real Madrid fear Manchester City could poach Toni Kroos, despite Blues distancing themselves from the Germany international. The team also appears to have conceded defeat to Manchester City in the race to sign Gabriel Jesus.
• Atletico Madrid want Kevin Gameiro after Diego Costa deal fell through.
• Javier Mascherano has decided to stay at Barcelona, reports Sport. The Argentina international was strongly linked with a move to Juventus earlier this summer, but he looks set to remain at Barca instead. Juventus made a fresh attempt to recruit him recently, but the former Liverpool man rejected that option.

FRANCE

• Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery wants to sign another striker to help support star forward Edinson Cavani.
• Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that he has tried to convince Tottenham Hotspur to allow Clinton Njie to rejoin the French club.
