Homeboyz women’s team are the champions of the Prinsloo Sevens held at the Nakuru Athletics Club.

The Deejays beat Impala 15-0 to lift the title with Kenya Lionesses pacy winger Linet Moraa leading from the front. Leah Njogu and Sophie Aiyeta scored the other tries for the brave Homeboyz side.

Homeboyz were seeded top for the event by virtue of being the defending champions.

With the pressure to perform on their shoulders, the Ngong road based team defied all odds to lift the coveted crown.

Impala Saracens emerged second with the Shamas ladies rugby team coming in third.
