Impala Floodlit tournament begins on Saturday

The 34th edition of the Impala Floodlit tournament kicks off on Saturday 17 October 2015 at the Impala Club.

The tournament, an invitational event hosted by Impala Saracens has traditionally been used as a pre-season tournament ahead of the new league season and this year’s tourney is no different as teams will be looking to test their combinations and new players ahead of the 2015/16 Kenya Cup league which kicks off on 21 November.

Defending champions KCB begin their charge for a third successive title when they face Mwamba in the showstopper at 7.00pm.

The match will be preceded by the Top Fry Nakuru – Pan Africa Strathmore Leos clash at 5.20pm while hosts Impala Saracens play Kenya Harlequin in the latest edition of the Ngong Road derby. This match will kick off at 3.40pm while Homeboyz will play Nondies in the opening quarter final at 2.00pm.

The winners of Saturday’s quarter finals will proceed to the semi-finals set for 24 October at the same venue.
