IN PICTURES: Harambee Stars train ahead of Cape Verde clash

National football team Harambee Stars  had their first training session at the Nyayo Stadium Tuesday morning  ahead of the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Cape Verde Islands on Friday, November 13th.

There was a better turn out Tuesday after head coach Bobby Williamson  complained over the weekend that he did not have enough called up players in camp despite the conclusion of the league.

Captain Victor Mugubi, striker Allan Wanga and Midfielders Clifton Miheso and Teddy Akumu are the foreign based players in camp. David Owino, Jacob Keli , Brian Mandela and Johanna Omollo are expected in camp Wednesday morning.

Team Manager Willis Waliaula says All these players either paid their own tickets or the FKF paid for them but they will be refunded once the Ministry of Sports gets funds from the treasury this week.
