Indiza hits 2 under as Wallace takes Kenya Open lead

Kenya’s Dismas Indiza ended his round three of the Barclays Kenya Open with two under par bringing him to six under as Englishman Matt Wallace took a one-shot lead into the final round at the Muthaiga Golf Club.

Wallace struck five birdies on his way to dislodging overnight leader Adrien Saddier at the leaderboard summit on 12 under par on Saturday with the compatriot Aaron Rai and Frenchman Saddier his closest rivals.

Local golfer Riz Charania finished the day on two under par taking him to four under as compatriot Simon Ngige ended on par to remain at two under par.

Saddier carded a bogey-laden 72 in a spectacular collapse that saw him slide down to joint-second, level on 11 under par with Rai.

Saddier who fired seven birdies and an eagle to take a one shot lead at the half-way stage yesterday mamanged only one birdie but struck an eagle in hold 10 to keep his chase for the Open title alive.

His three bogeys on the front nine cost him th lead as Rai birdied three of his final four holes for a round of 69 and a share of second place.
